Polynesian Ply™ costs less than solid timber linings! Polynesian Ply™
provides better aesthetics than standard plaster linings. With superb
insulation and bracing qualities, Polynesian Ply™ is recommended for
use
under decks, on walls, surfeits, internal decor & cladding, as a
plasterboard alternative, for furniture manufacturing, as screens,
feature
panels, suspended ceilings (metal grid systems), kitchen cupboards,
shelves, bar fascias or what ever you can dream of. Polynesian Ply™ is
recommended for use indoors & provides a classy tropical feel. However,
many of our clients protect the Polynesian Ply™ with an outdoor marine
lacquer for outdoor areas. Polynesian Ply™ is not meant to be
structural,
rather aesthetic.
The glue used to compress the ply is urea formaldehyde. Each bamboo
strip
used is 1.5 - 2cm wide and is presentable both plain and lacquered. *
